Writing Weaknesses

    I have learned more about my weaknesses in writing throughout the school year, too. Being the opposite of one of my strengths, one of my weaknesses is the shorter writing assignments. I have a hard time finding the right words to piece together each sentence the way I want it in a short time. This is important to get better at because sentence fluency is a major part of all writing.

    I can also get distracted and rush to finish assignments. This weakness shows in my creative writing assignments. Creative writing assignments are hard for me to write, and this struggle causes the distraction and the rush to finish. This is an important weakness to improve on because it leads to a domino effect in the fall of my ability to write productively, and it damages the quality of my writing greatly. The weakness is also a major cause for most of the writing block I get.
